Why am I required to take this course?
Many states throughout the United States now require parents with minor children to complete a parenting course before they can finalize a divorce. Check to see the requirements of your specific jurisdiction.

Whether you are being court-ordered to complete this course, or you are taking this course to enhance your parenting skills, this course offers a convenient and flexible format. It is completely available online. You may start and stop whenever you like, while saving your progress. You may retrieve your certificates for FREE immediately after you successfully complete the entire course.

Where do I need to go to sign up or complete the course?
First, select your State.  Once you verify that your State has approved our course, choose your preferred enrollment period and click the button to complete your purchase.  You will be prompted to enter your contact information and submit a payment by credit card or through PayPal. Once your payment has been received, you will be emailed login instructions with your username, a temporary password, and link to the Learning Portal.

 

How much time will it take me to complete the parenting course?
In many jurisdictions, the course is required to be four hours. This course is a timed, 4-hour course.

 

What if I cannot sit and complete the course in one sitting?
No problem! You may complete as little or as much of the course you like at any given time. Just remember to save your session when you are ready for a break, and you may begin where you left off when you log back in.  However, once you begin the quiz, you must complete it in one session; you cannot save your quiz progress midway through.

 

Will I get a certificate of completion?
Yes. There are mini quizzes throughout the course, one after each section. Once you have successfully completed the entire course, you will be able to access your Certificate of Completion for the entire course from you Dashboard. You will need to print this certificate and give it to your lawyer to be filed with the court.

 

Do I have to take a final exam?
No. You will be given five mini quizzes after you complete each section, but no final exam!

 

Will you notify the court once I finish the course and exam?
No. It is your responsibility to retrieve and print your Certificate of Completion and submit it to your lawyer to be filed with the court.
